After Payment:

• You will receive a Red Cross link to complete the online portion of the training.
• We recommend completing it before your practical session.

Recognized Certification:

• Covers latest techniques and guidelines compliant with:
• Provincial/Territorial Worker Safety and Insurance Boards
• Canadian Standards Association (CSA) – Intermediate First Aid

Course Duration

• Standard First Aid & CPR A (Adult):
• 13 hours in-class or
• 7 hours in-class + 8 hours online

Standard First Aid & CPR C (Adult, Child & Infant):

• 14 hours in-class or
• 7 hours in-class + 8 hours online

• Check, Call, Care
• Airway emergencies
• Breathing & circulation emergencies
• Respiratory & cardiac arrest care
• Wound care
• Head & spine injuries
• Bone, muscle & joint injuries
• Sudden medical emergencies
• Environmental emergencies
• Opioid poisoning awareness
• Additional content as per legislation

 Certification & Policies Completion Requirements: 

• Demonstrate all skills and critical steps
• Score at least 75% on written evaluation
• Attend and participate in 100% of the course

Certification details:

• 3-year certification in:
  • Standard First Aid
  • CPR Level A or C
  • AED

Recertification:

• CPR A: 7 hours in-class
• CPR C: 7.5 hours in-class
• Must have valid Certification still (within the 3 years of last certification)

Refund Policy:

• Full refund: If cancelled 2+ weeks before training
• 50% refund: If cancelled 1 week before
• No refund: Within 1 week of training date
